Meet Our Doctor

Ramon T. Arreola, D.M.D.

Dr. Ramon T Arreola was born in California and grew up in Southwest Texas. He is of Mexican American descent. He attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. After graduating from college he was accepted at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School and graduated in 1980. Following graduation, he came to the Lehigh Valley; where he was accepted as the first dental resident at Muhlenberg Hospital, now known as Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus.  In 1981, he transition into private practice as an associate for Dr. Kenneth Goldenberg, where he stayed for two years. In 1983, he started his solo practice at 623 W. Union Blvd, in Bethlehem, PA. After eight years at this location, Dr. Arreola moved to his current location at 1020 W. Broad Street, in Bethlehem, PA. Dr. Arreola is a member of the American Dental Association.

He prides himself on giving back to the community, by motivating young high school students to pursue college. He has seen them accepted at Northampton Community College, Moravian College and Lehigh University. He has mentored young adults at local Lehigh Valley colleges to pursue careers in dentistry and see them accepted at University of Pennsylvania, Temple and University of Pittsburg. He has been a guest speaker to the Temple Dental club and has lectured on “Managing The Business of Dentistry; Concepts and Design.”  Dr. Arreola takes special interest in being a spokesperson to motivate Hispanics to value education. In the past he has been interviewed by local news and has been invited as a guest at local colleges to speak on his own personal experiences in pursuing higher education.

Dr. Arreola is a family man, who enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married for over 35 years to his college sweetheart, Mary.  He is a proud father of four children; Ramon, Michael, Nicole and Adrian. He has recently become a proud grandfather to Collette. He is an active parishioner at Notre Dame of Bethlehem. 

In his spare time, Dr. Arreola enjoys photography, gardening and cheering on his favorite teams; such as the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Dr. Arreola’s love and commitment to dentistry can be reflected throughout his office, in the fact that his first-hand innovated design concepts help to provide our patients with a relaxing environment.

Dr. Arreola’s philosophy is that a doctor must be a good teacher and communicator. This can be seen by the first time he interacts with his patients, he strives to convey to them that preventive dentistry is all about the patient-dentist relationship. His long term goal when treating patients is to set up a relationship that focuses on preventive care and honest communication!
